Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to see of Alister passing .I met him at the first Golfers Warehouse I West Springfield . his quit smile an pleasant outlook. He Gave me a chipping lesson ,putting theory that I still use.

My sincerest condolences to the Cato family. I met Alistair through my father and playing at the Orchards. My father loved Alistair as I'm sure many did. We all enjoyed the Orchards' 19th Hole on many occasions. Brings back many great memories. Alistair not only was a talented golfer: but, a humorous, smart, witty, otherwise first-class person. He treated everyone with respect and will be missed by many. He passed way too early and young. He had so much more to give.

AL WAS SOMEONE THAT WAS JUST KIND. HE WANTED TO HELP EVERY GOLFER GET BETTER. THE GARDEN SICKLE THAT HE CARRIED IN HIS TRUNK WAS HIS SECRET THAT WEEK!!!! HE WAS ALSO THE KING OF NICK NAMES...I LOVE HIM AND THE NICK NAME HE GAVE ME. BONNIE WE ALL ARE HERE TO HELP YOU SO PLEASE REACH OUT TO YOUR GOLF FRIENDS. REST IN PEACE AL, "CY OF RELIEF"

There was rarely a MGA event (pre-Mass Golf) where Alistair was not somewhere in the mix. He was humorous, talented and when a lesser-known writer from the Cape Cod Times needed a quote that summed up the days activities, who else would you go to. He was one of my favorites. So sad to see the stable of quality golf guys diminish as it has. He will be missed. Eyes up to you sir.

My sincere condolences to the Catto family. I have fond memories of Alistair, both on and off the golf course. He always treated me and the golf staff at The Orchards with respect. He will be missed.

Dearest Bonnie,
Our hearts are deeply saddened by Alistair's passing. He was a great friend and mentor. He was the most amazing golf partner who always found humor in any round we ever played.
His quirky humor and sayings will always be stuck in my head. His life philosophy could be summed up with the way he marked his golf ball. A simple zig-zag depicting Bart Simpon's hair...the ups and downs of a round and life. He will be sadly missed but live in our hearts forever.
Farewell my...

Mrs. Catto; I've never had the pleasure of meeting you but had the GREAT pleasure of meeting, and being a friend of Alistair"s almost 20 years. He helped my game and called me "The Happiest Man In Golf". He said because I was always smiling on the golf course. I love him and will miss him.

Dear Bonnie,
AC/Cattor always brought a smile to my face and to those around him. There are so many memories of Alistair I have from the Warehouse days and the many rounds of golf. He lived life to the fullest and I am grateful to have been his friend. He taught me many lessons and made me a better person.
I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Jude

I was not fortunate to have met Alistair but being a recent member of the Safari Club he helped form says so much about him. A club with class and purpose reflects the kind of individual he and his fellow founders are.We will never forget but to carry on his legacy.
