Not sure what to say?

Alix Dobkin´s Music has been the music of my heart and life. The same is true of Linda Shear, Ginni Clemmens, Meg Christian, Chris Williamson, and way too many women to list here who created Lesbian Women´s Music, Dyke Music, Queer Ladies Music. She was called "The Head Lesbian" for a reason! I am 75, soon to be 76 years old, and I still listen to their music every day! Alix stopped performing live in 2021. She still sings to us every morning, noon, & night!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Alix was a role model for me as a freshly minted lesbian coming to my first festivals at Michigan and the West Coast Womyn's Music Festival in the early to mid 80's. In addition to her powerful and fun music, she was a warm and friendly woman who made many of us feel "at home". Thank you Alix!

Love you and will miss you. Rest in ☮.

My condolences to the family. Find strength from family and friends during this time.
