Dear Catherine and Family--
I am so sorry to learn of Allan's departing this life. We have been on an extended vacation, and I only learned of his passing yesterday. I feel so bad that we were unable to come to the wake as we were away. May you find comfort in your memories and his great love and devotion to you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Again please accept my deepest sympathies. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

Dear Mrs. Allan, Rick and John David,
I am so sorry about Mr. Allan. He was a upstanding individual in many ways and between him and Rose, Nanticoke lost two of the best in a short period of time. I am sure that he has already talked St. Peter into staring a recycling center at the Pearly Gates!
