Allan P. Atwell

To the Atwell family, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to you all. I had the honor of working with Al at the Jonesville firehouse and it was amazing listening to him every time he spoke. He was such a wealth of knowledge and he had such a great heart and desire to serve the community and his country. He will never be forgotten and we thank you Al for your service. Rest In Peace.

As a member of the Order of Elks, Mr. Atwell provided dictionaries to third graders at Hillside Elementary School in Niskayuna for years. I thoroughly enjoyed his annual visits. My condolences to his family. Sincerely, Shireen Fasciglione, Principal
