Not sure what to say?

It is wonderful to learn of all Al Barnes accomplished after our 1956 graduation from Stadium High School, Tacoma, Wa. So proud of him. Most sincerely, Mary Classen Bell

Dear Twyla, Kirk and Eric, I am so sorry to hear of Allan's passing. He was the best supportive team building administrator when I worked at SERRC! Our helicopter trip to celebrate the engagement of Twyla and Allan is a very fond memory! So many memories of wonderful social times with you. May you treasure the joys of your life together, Sending lots of love to you. Jan McPhetres

Dear Twyla, Kirk, and Heidi, My sincere condolences to you. I have so many fond memories of working with you at SERRC. Allan once lent me his van to help speech pathologist, Rhonda, move. Something not even my own mother would do. His van was extra long. While driving in reverse, I experienced the fear of God, as I imagined wrecking my boss's wheels. Allan had an awesome sense of leadership. Please know that I had the time of my life working with your family, and hold those memories...

Dear Twyla, Kirk and Erik. I was so sad to read about Allan´s passing. He was a great friend to me; funny, caring and incredibly generous. Allan was one of the happiest people I have ever know and so much fun to be around. He loved his family so much and you all are in my thoughts. Love, Victoria

Allan was my boss at SERRC for ten years. I have fond memories of him, Twyla, Mark Hanson, and the staff. Allan had a big heart and a big smile. He left big shoes to fill and a legacy that´s hard to match. Goodbye Allan.

Allan and I were friends at Washington and Mason schools. I was 12 and he was 14 when I moved from the Proctor area. He was a great guy back then and it seems he went on to be even greater. I am so happy to know that Allan lived an exemplary life. Thank you for posting his story! My condolences to Allan's family and friends. Karen Zemanek
