May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I have my own wonderful memories of Allan from September 1965 through June 1967 when I was struggling towards an M.A. in Latin American Studies at the University of Florida. He was so empathetic, and we had wonderful, stimulating conversations on Existentialism, classical music, and other topics. His encouragement had a great deal to do with my successful completion of my M.A....
