Not sure what to say?

Phyllis, Jessica, Chris, Francine, Allan ..
My deepest condolences to you and yours on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law Allan. My memories of spending time with Allan date back to when I was quite young, spending fun times with Chris at your home. He was always so positive and always so full of life and energy. Many years passed and I saw him again, mostly in photos with Phyllis that my father and mother would share with me of happy times they...

My heartfelt Condolences to the Crocker family especially to Allan's wife, Phyllis, my nursery school teacher. For decades, Mr. Crocker and I would talk during halftime of many Skidmore Basketball games. We had some wonderful conversations through the years, even though they came just five minutes at a time. Such a kind-hearted man during those interactions. He is already missed. God Bless.

Allan exemplified what is best about the Skidmore College community. He understood that its all about the people and their relationships with each other. He kept up active engagement in the retiree community after leaving Skidmorewhich means that he really never left. Those of us who knew him will gladly keep his memory alive. Sending sincere sympathy to Phyllis and all the family--

Many of the donor names on Skidmores campus and programs are the direct result of Allans exceptional work a legacy for generations to come. As a valued colleague and good friend, he will be remembered by many.

Thinking of you say this difficult time. Much love.

When we met Allan and Phyllis at a Skidmore Event in Naples a few years ago, little did we know that this would be the beginning of a wonderful friendship that would extend to another generation. In casually mentioning our other home at Loon Mtn., we learned that their daughter Jessica and her husband Paul had a home here as well. Of course I then met them on a gondola ride up the mountain a few weeks later. Since then I have a new set of friends on the mountain!
