Woozie, I just found out about Allan's recent death. I am so sorry. He was so much fun at Carolina and such a good friend. I'm sorry I haven't kept in close contact over the years but I have enjoyed watching Cooper grow up through Christmas photos. Please know that I'm thinking of you and remembering tonight all about Allan. I still laugh at the memories. I am so glad he did so well in his career. Take care of yourself and Cooper.

Woozie:

I have been out of town all summer.. I just heard about Allan. My deepest sympathy. Allan was a beautiful, gentle man with a beautiful smile and beautiful heart. You and Cooper are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Woozie and Cooper:

I am so saddened by the news of Allan's death. You both are in my heart and prayers. I will always remember our times together over the years especially at Christmas when your Mom and Dad lived next door to my family. Oh the times we had on Christmas Eve each year. We are miles apart but I am thinking of you and Cooper always.

Mother (who now resides in Auburn) sends her love and thoughts to you both.

Susan and Cooper,
You know that my heart is broken! You also know that you both are my family. We have so many cherished memories to share. There is not a day that goes by that I don't burst out laughing as I remember so many funny times we all had together. Allan was a gift and a best friend and my life is blessed because we had 30 years together.
I love you!

Dear Woozie and Cooper - I just learned of Alan's sudden death and am saddened beyond belief. I was his first babysitter in Charlotte when the Dell's moved from Rhode Island to Kitley Place and have so many wonderful memories of Alan as a child and of the entire Dell family. Most especially Christmas Eve's when Cooper, Sr. would frantically phone my Dad, Mr. Joe, to help Santa with putting together an airport, cars, and many other mechanical toys for the next big morning. All was complete...

Dear Woozie and Cooper,

We send our love and prayers to you and
family. We'll always cherish fond memories of Nashville, Memphis, and then Charlotte.
We Love you,
J.J. and Coach

Woozie and Cooper,
We have been out of town and have just learned of your tragic loss. Words cannot describe the heaviness in our hearts. We cherish the memories of Allan at Tiger Cubs with his son, Cooper, whom he was always so proud to be with at the Derby race! Looking back, we never thought those memories would be so precious until now.
May God richly bless and strengthen you both to accomplish what is set before you this day and each day as you go forth.
Very Fondly...
