Not sure what to say?

I met Dr. Emery back in the mid 1990´s when as a police officer I was called to the house on a report of trespassing on his lower back property. After checking the property, I returned to the house and we had a wonderful conversation about his WW2 service and history in general. A painting on the wall of the 20th Maine Regiment at Gettysburg caught my eye and we spoke at length about the Civil War. Dr. Emery took me on a tour of the house and showed me an amazing 175 year old...

9/25/21 I have written an "ethical will" to leave for my children. It shares with them my views throughout the years and qualities I want to leave them. One question asked was who influenced your life the most.I wrote Mr Emery and their Bible Club. I was one of the first people in the club years ago in the Braintree home. Before Allan died, he asked me if his life counted for anything. How could he wonder after all the teens he helped to know Christ?? Sadly,no one in my group is still alive to...

I came as au pair from U.K. to the USA in 1962. I had never heard of Jesus in words I could understand. What a joy! what liberation! I came to know The Lord and learnt so much from those Thursday evenings..every time I eat a doughnut it reminds me of whisper wood! Thanks to Allan and all those young people who encouraged and loved me..I still know the words of so many of those songs we used to sing together!

Cannot believe it has been 10 years. Mr. & Mrs. Emery had the greatest influence on my life and I shall forever be grateful. Until we meet again.

I cannot believe it has been 10 years - time really does fly - but that never dims the memories and I walk up the hill quite often, stand by the Mansion and say Hello to Mr. Emery - I can feel him smiling back at me from that room where Paula and I last visited him - What a man, What a mighty fine man!!!!

Alan and Marian had the greatest influence for Jesus Christ in my life. I think of them often.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

His love and dedication to reach the hearts of teens for Christ was not only a blessing to my late mother Phyllis Swanson Masidlover, her late brother Paul and late sister Linda -but reached out to even me as I was growing up. What a life.-what a legacy for the Lord!
