Peggy's mother, Bea, was my mother's first cousin. I was the ring bearer at Al and Peggy's wedding, so I was 3 or 4 at the time. I'll always remember Thanksgiving dinner at Bea's house with them and then Christmas dinner at our house. I remember Al as being funny, telling a joke or some story. He had a laugh that was infectious, at least as a little kid , made me laugh. The last time I got to see him was at Bea's funeral, but he was just as friendly as ever and interested in all I had to say....
