Hello Joan,
This is Michele who attended the Portland Foursquare Church since I was an infant. I am now 61. I LOVED Pastor Hamilton. When I was at Camp Crestview as a teenager, he came out to the camp to give a sermon to the campers. He did his 26 pt sermon, the alphabet (smile) and Then he read Old Mother Hubbard as if it was a sermon, in short, he related wonderfully to the teens. What a very fine man. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Pastor Hamilton. He was such an influential part of our family. He especially helped my parents (Art and Eileen Hirter) to grow spiritually and gave them opportunities for service. His love and faithfulness to the Lord have changed many people's lives and he will be tremendously missed.
