Not sure what to say?

Dear Jana and Hofland family, I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Hofland's passing. I remember spending time at your home in Wheaton, and how warm and friendly and loving it was. I still remember Mr. Hofland's gentle spirit and true kindness. I am very sorry to write so late, but I only just heard. We pray for the Lord's comfort for your family. We rejoice that he is with Jesus and that one day we will all be reunited.

I am sorry for your loss of Allan. It is tough to suffer this loss. I pray for comfort from God.
From Susan Hofland=Norman Hofland's 5th child.

Joyce, to you and your family, Ruth and I extend our deepest sympathy. May the love of our Lord Jesus accompany you during these difficult hours. We recall with pleasure some of the inspiring gatherings in your home. Blessings, Dick & Ruth

Dear Joyce,
It is with sadness that we hear of Allan's passing, but with joy to know he is present with his Lord. We have been grateful to Allan for his guidance of our two older children, Jan and Winsor, during their high school years. He was always a kind and very optimistic force in their lives and we can only express our deepest gratitude for his leading them. He was also a help, as were you, in organizing and conducting our college class reunions. Thank you for sharing him with us....

Allan was a dear friend, fellow supporter of Russian Ministries and valued member of our class of Wheaton College 1954 reunion committees over the years. We his classmates have been inspired by his heroic, uncomplaining battle with health issues over many years as we extend condolences to the family. May the Lord comfort you in the knowledge of Allan's presence with his Savior.

He was such a kind and gentle man. May your memories be sweet and encourage you as you mourn your loss and celebrate his life.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
