Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN in the Pacific during WW II fighting the Japanese and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Allan's demise is a deep felt shock to Shirley and myself. He brought honor to his parents , his wife and his country. He was a dear friend and his contribution to every aspect of society will be deeply missed.
