Al will be remembered by a whole generation of rock musicians as the owner of Minsky's Music in Preston Forest shopping center. Not only was it a place where musicians hung out, but it was record store. I first heard Light My Fire in the store the day it came out. I skipped school to be one of the first to buy the Beatles White Album there. I taught guitar lesson there for a couple of years and met some incredible guitarists, including the late Jess Hudson (who first taught me finger-style...
