Can it be 6 years since Allan has passed? I'm sure so much has happened in the family during this time. You must carry on and be prideful for all you gained being a close knit family. He would be proud. I think of Allan often. I wonder about Carole too. I am so grateful to have know Carole and all of you, through brief meetings and through many inspirational stories. So very sorry to hear that your Dad passed.
It sounds like he was a wonderful man and father. I was also sad to hear about Katie.
God bless.

Many people measure greatness by what someone had accomplished and contributed in a quiet way during their life time. I believe Allen to be one of those great people. RIP

I'm saddened for your loss Carole. Allan was truly great.

You will be missed Al and have been since you moved north. Just last week I was telling a forestry classmate (Webb) how gobsmacked I was when you walked me into the ground, so many years ago, from the swinging bridge up to the ranch house to meet the owners we were planting the trees for. I was shocked, it being late winter and I supposedly in great shape from the last 50 yarder sides. What a stud.

I'm still burning...

Allan was such a handsome gentle man who clearly was loved and cherished by his family. The mutual respect and shared humor is evident in the obituary, too. We send our sincere condolences to you, Carol, and to all his family. We know he will be genuinely missed by family and friends alike.
