Not sure what to say?

I worked for Dr Pike as an EFDA before going to dental hygiene school. He was an incredible mentor and practitioner. I learned a lot from him.

Although it's over a month, I want to extend my heart felt sadness and gratitude to Alan & his wonderful loved ones. Alan was truly a good, kind man that I was lucky enough to meet when he courted my cousin Marney some sixty odd years ago. Over the years he offered friendship, guidance and elegance to our clan & I feel blessed to call him "Family". Rest Him Peace.

Allan was a friend & colleague. His personal way was always ethical, kind, & pleasant. He laughed easily. Serving on some dental committees together lead to meaningful conversations and cherished memories. I carry in my heart deepest respect for him and a profound sense of loss. It seems so unfair that such a man as he must be taken from us. He gave the best a man could give. To his family, loved ones, and close friends we send our most sincere and heartfelt condolences. He is still a gift to...

To Jamie, Marney, Michelle, Steve and family: I learned from Stephanie about Dr. Pike´s passing. In addition to my heartfelt condolences-I regret not being able to be of support to Jamie in the way she was to me when my father died. I remember Dr. Pike primarily from the 1980s. He was one of the kindest and most humble men I´ve ever met. I remember how encouraging he was, and his genuine love and commitment to his family. Dentist by week-flying Cessna´s on some weekends, I admired his...

I was a pediatric dentist in training about 20 years behind Al. He was a mentor to me, and I highly respected his kind approach to children. They loved him, routinely, possibly because he wasn't much bigger than most of them! But he was a giant among people, because of his warmth, positivity, and kindness. I cried some today thinking about the loss of this man. He leaves the world a much better place, and when I finally see him again, I will tie his shoelaces for him. You will be...

Saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Pike. He was my first employer as a dental hygienist in 1995. I worked for him for 6 years. He taught me so much about dentistry and working with children. When I first started working for him he one day explained compounding interest. He drew a chart and told me how important is it to save for retirement. 30 years later I am very thankful for that lesson. Thank you Dr. Pike.
