Dear Purvis Family,

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Al purvis. Our son Andrew had the honour of meeting, interviewing and getting to know Al a bit a few years ago when he did a school project on the Mercurys. We will treasure those memories forever.

Sincerely Gord, Donna, Andrew, & Candace Heck

Mrs. Purvis and family,
Please accept my condolences from my family to yours. As a former employee of Waterloo, I will always remember, most, the handshake at christmas, and the "Good work" from Mr. Purvis himself. It always made me feel more part of the team than any other time of year. I am deeply sadden by this news and will always remember this "Great Man".
Sincerely,
James White and family

Dear Jeanne and family,
We feel your pain in our hearts. Losing Al leaves a huge gap in all of our lives.
We have such happy memories of times we spent in his company. He was a gracious host, and a fun guy to be around. His comments to our children, when they were young, always got them giggling, especially "You're full of prunes!" There were so many "Al-isms"
over the years that we will always treasure.
We'll miss you and your sense of humour, Al. RIP.

Mac & Dorothy Matheson offer our condolences to Jeanne & fmly. Mac remembers Randy from Dealership & I certainly remember Jeanne,as she sold us our house when we moved to Edmonton in 1978.She was very kind in giving us 2 lawn chairs as our furniture hadn't arrived yet. Thanks again for your kindness Jeanne.

Uncle Al: you shared your love of life with all of us. I remember your walk and the way you swung your hands; my new husband commented that "after hearing everyone speak about your uncle, I wish I'd met him, he sounded like someone special that you don't meet very often in your life." That was my Uncle Al.
All my wishes to the Purvis family;
Shannon Kiger (nee Speckmaier)
