Not sure what to say?

Pat and family -- May the memories you cherish help to ease the burden of your loss.

I knew you very well as my teacher and friend. Duane knew Al as a friend through JCEA and MEA.

With deepest sympathy,
Willa (Secore) and Duane Franzen

Pat, Jay, Julie & Joe,
May God comfort and give you strength during this time. Al was my drivers' ed teacher and provided us with entertainment as we learned.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May special memories bring a sense of peace in the future. His presence made this world a better place.

Pat & family ~

I can assure you that Al will always be remembered as one of MEA's most ardent advocates. I value the opportunities I had to share his vision, and his outlook on education and the teaching profession. His perspective will be sorely missed in the future. The education profession has lost a great champion. My most sincere condolences to you and your family.

Hi Pat: Was surprised and shocked to hear of Al's passing. Haven't seen either of you for some time, but both of you were dear friends way back when JCEA was blessed with our presense,(at least your's and Al's). Al did so much for the teacher's of Michigan that 99% of them have no idea the benefits we have received due to his presense with MEA. Hope you and your family have the strength to get through this very difficult time.

My thoughts are with you.

Dear Pat and Family, We have wonderful memories of Allan who always welcomed us to your home and was quick with a word of encouragement. Remember when you two hosted a Western faculty party in honor of our wedding December 26, 1981? Many good times remembered. Blessings with peace and joy in the days ahead. Sharon and Jeff Flynn

I was so sorry to hear of Al's passing. He was a kind and wonderful man. Everyone in the teaching profession owes him a great debt of gratitude for his service. Thinking of you at this time of sorrow. May God Bless you. With fond memories, Sharon (Conant) Cook and family

Dear Pat and Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. Words are not enough to help ease your grief. Just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Pat,
Al and I always enjoyed our "visits" together. We shared so many pleasant "debates," discussions, and dialogues about sports, our professions, and travels. I was always comfortable with Al because of our personal affinity and affection for the Gallagher family, your dad, Fritz and your mother, Mary. Al was a "straight liner" and his professionalism and integrity made for "no need to play games or blow smoke." Of course the special relationship that you and I share from my first...
