Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of Al Simpson as my basketball and baseball coach at Corbett High. His Memorial Service was very nice and though we had lost contact after my graduation in 1960 the past few years before his passing we had reconnected through his attendance of our Class Reunions. It was an honor to have experienced him in my life and been reminded of his encouragement I could do anything I put my mind to.

So sorry to hear of Allan's passing- you folks have been faithful customers for a good many years. We also knew Ron through Star rentals. Can't express our sympathy in words. Will be praying for your peace and comfort. If there is anything you need or you just want to talk, give me a call.

Many fond memories of Mr. Simpson at Corbett High where he coached JV Basketball and Varsity Baseball. He taught me many great techniques. Praying for the family.

I played second base for Coach Simpson at Marshall for 4 years. He was the best baseball coach I ever played for. He used to talk so fondly of his boys and was very proud of them. His enthusiasm for the game was contagious and I loved playing for him. My deepest sorrow to the Simpson Family for the loss of a great man and coach. Perry Kiyokawa Marshall high class of '71

Vernice and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Allan's death. I always enjoyed when you both would come into our office (Phil Eder, then Reeves, Kahn, Hennessy and Elkins) because you were such a beautiful couple. Let me know if there is anything we can help you with. P.S. I bet your mom is baking him her wonderful cookies right now. Love to you all.

Mr. Simpson was one of my baseball coaches at Marshall High. I believe it was my sophomore year, in the spring of 1963, that I spent the most time with Mr. Simpson. He was a great coach who understood the game and knew how to relate to his young players and get the most out of them. Along the way he instilled a work ethic in us that applied equally well in our athletic and work careers. I was fortunate to have the benefit of knowing Mr. Simpson and learning from him.
