While growing up, I was a neighbor of the Simpson family on Chapel Hill for many years. Allan was always very cordial to me and I remember having good conversations with him on numerous occasions. He was dedicated to his family and the community. My deepest condolences to Allan's family.

Wendy and Beth, I had the privilege of meeting your dad when I served as the Chief of the Wilbraham Fire Department. He was a spark of humor at all our meetings and wiling to mentor the younger chiefs like myself. He represented South Hadley District 2 with pride and credibility.
