I'd first had the honor and privilege of getting to know Allan when I'd started my first 'real' job as a dishwasher at the long defunct 'J. McManus Restaurant' at the 'Century City Shopping Center' on Memorial Ave. in West Springfield and Allan was saddled with having to train me in my new situation. Talk about patience!
