Al and I arrived at Andover on the same day, the beginning of our lower year. We both made the football squad. Al became a very good and important part of the 1948, undefeated team. That team was honored on June, 6 of this year by induction into the "Andover Athletics Hall of Honor". It is too bad that Al was not well enough to be part of that honor. He will be missed.
