Not sure what to say?

Allan brought laughter and fun with him wherever he went. With that mischievous twinkle in his eye, you knew that he was planning some new prank. These ranged from practical jokes to such lovely surprises as secretly flying to Ontario to fetch his Auntie Helen, so he could surprise his mom on her 80th birthday. We’ll miss him so much, and our hearts are with all of you at this time.

Edna,
Been a very long while since our houseboat out on the Shuswap but I'll always remember those times with you and Al with a smile.

I remember my first day in Zone 2-4 back in 1987. I was introduced to Al as well as my new partner, Bob Fraser. Al was sitting in his office chair and we discussed pleasantries and past postings. Bob and I were about to leave his office when Al told us to "hold on a second" then gave me a warrant assignment for a parking ticket asking if I'd take...

Will think of you and memories when we look at those steel wagon wheels and walk the farm. Will miss you.
John, Shirl, and family

Al was a constantly friendly and helpful member of our 'extended family', always up for a laugh at gatherings....we will miss him at the table...

Worked for Al 'back in the day' in 2-4 and had a great time. Gone, not forgotten.
