Not sure what to say?

Dear Ed & Family;
It is with sadness that I recently learned of Alleen's passing. I send
my sincere condolences. I remember Alleen's kind & generous spirit and hospitality to me when I worked with Ed during my working days at the Chittenden in Waitsfield.

Dear Eurich family members.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Eurich family upon learning of Aleen's recent passing.

I will cherish those wonderful sunny days driving past the Eurich home and waving to Ed and Alleen while they sat on their entry porch enjoying Vermont's glorious weather.

Dear Ed and family,

I am Rebecca Freeman Cleveland's daughter and want to express my condolences on the death of your wife. May your memories give you strength to make it through this difficult time.

My thoughts are with you. Rejoice in the memories.

Dear Ed, Gordie & Family,
On behalf of myself and I’m sure all the members of Mad River Lodge # 77 let me express the sincere sorrow we all feel at your sudden loss.
I’m truly saddened and send my deepest sympathy because I realize the loss of a loved one is a very tragic experience and that we must console ourselves with the belief that they are at eternal peace and in the loving care of our Lord.
Please accept my wishes for peace and comfort at this truly sad...

Beecher, my thoughts are with you and your family. Losing your mother is hard--no matter how old we are. Your Mom was the same age as mine. I sometimes marvel at the times they grew up in. Imagine, women couldn't even vote when our mothers were born. Wars and floods and on and on. They saw so much. Now they rest. Hugs to you and yours.

Dear Ed,
I am so sorry to hear of Alleen's passing. Although I only met you both the one time I came by to take your photograph for the Rotary Directory, I can only imagine the profound loss you must be feeling. Hoping that your recovery will be thorough and swift and that we will have the pleasure of being able to cross paths again.

To let you know that others share the sorrow and the loss you bear.
My mother(Eloise Gaylord)had told me several fond stories of her school days with Alleen as her teacher in the Warren school.
Alleen was special to many other students, I'm sure.

To Ed and family:
I knew Alleen before I met the rest of the family as she was a substitute teacher while I taught in Moretown. On more than one occasion she dropped everything to come to my aid. I loved her.
I later came to know Ed as my Grand Master.
