I really enjoyed knowing him and seeing his smiling face every week. We talked about our bouts with cancer and I was really shocked and sad to hear of his sudden passing,

I was very sad to learn of Allen's passing. As you know, we were classmates at East Jefferson. We met again at a reunion and have been corresponding for the last several years.
