Allen DeWaal

Very sad to hear of Al's passing. We lived across the street from him in Los Angeles until he moved away. Al was a great guy who we'll never forget. He was a friendly man and the first person to welcome us to the neighborhood (where we still live to this day). He put up a huge displays of lighted pumpkins on Halloween and a Christmas extravaganza of lights during the holidays. Children from all around the neighborhood flocked to his house on many occasions and his face lit up when he saw...

I just found out that Al passed away. I'm so sorry. I worked as Al's tech at Capitol Drugs and we kept in touch writing to and calling each other every year at Christmas time. He even kept his Packard in my garage for awhile when he needed a place to park it. I have really good memories of him. And I have so many of his beautiful photographs on my walls. I'm very sorry for your loss. He was an amazing photographer and a very nice man.
