Not sure what to say?

Daddy I miss you always!!

I still think of Allen a number times a week. He is the type of friend that is missed. Quite a loss to this world.

Again, I cannot say enough about what a great man and friend Allen was to me and my family. Still think of him often. Jim Bolen

Still to this day I think of Allen often, he was a great friend. You could trust Allen with your money, family or life, there are very very few people you can say that about. Allen, you are remembered by the Bolen family, thanks for the memories.

Allen told me sixty plus years ago on Gettysburg Ave. that I was his first hard contact patient. He always laughed and said, "he could have put bottoms of Coke bottles in my eyes and I would still be happy". We became instant friends, when you meet Allen you have to love him. You can never forget his kindness and laugh. Allen is the type of man you can trust with anything you have. While he was practicing my entire family was fortunate enough to have him as their optometrist and friend. I do...

Al Dubro was such a great man was very sad to hear of this.. I knew Al from time i was a young child. He treated me like family on every occasion i was lucky enough to spend with him. Also its hard to find someone who cared More about his business and helping others or his family. What a great man. May you rest in peace

I was one of Dr. Dubro´s first patients on Gettysburg Avenue in Dayton. I was probably 8 years old and still remember it clearly. I remember how kind he was to me. He was my doctor up until 1986. In fact my whole family went to him. He used to call us "family". I´ll never forget him. He was a special person. I know how much you must miss him. He certainly touched a lot of lives. He touched mine. I´m thinking of you all.

Evan, Your Dad sounds like he was a wonderful person. Of course, that is evident in the person you have become - a true reflection of him - a caring human being. May his memory be a blessing.

To the DuBro, I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents were such kind and loving people and I loved being not only neighbors but we became friends. I am sure your family will miss him greatly, but I know both your Mom and Dad are smiling down on all of you. Much Love, Jodie Wilson
