When I was born, there was an accident at Terrebonne General. They told my parent I was going to die but Doc said no! He used his talent and FAITH in God. And helped named me Faith. I thank God for this man every day of my life. He will be sadly missed. He was a great friend to my Mom and Dad.

I pray that the Lord may comfort you in your time of lost, may you know countless lives have been blessed by Dr. Ellender over the years, and many of us have been blessed in knowing many members of this family.

Dr. Allen was not only our family doctor, but a close friend of my parents, delivered my siblings, and much more than I can write here. Sympathy to all of the children and what a joy to live to 93 and be married 66 years.
