Not sure what to say?

To The Entire Freeman Family: I so regret your loss and only wish to say that Allen was one of the truest friends I had from the first time we met. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you!!!! Be well, James "Skip" Edmond.

To Lucille & family: I light this candle in memory of your brother Allen.

Oh what wonderful times we had singing under the direction of our Minister of Music, Allen. He was so dedicated and loved what he was doing. We loved going from church to church singing our A and B selections. We spent many hours rehearsing and many hours on the road going to our many engagements. Our prayers are with his beautiful family. Thank you for sharing him with us. He gave us memories we will cherish forever and friendships that will remain forever. Well done Allen.

To my friend, Lucille and the entire Freeman family. My heartfelt, deepest sympathy and condolences to each of you. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; while love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Your memories of Allen will live on in your hearts.
Keep loving each other and know that God is with you always.
Much love--Janice M. Collier

To The Freeman Family- I may not be able to make it home for Allen's Homegoing Celebration,so I wanted to share these words; My heart is heavy and forever filled with unanimous memories. Allen was a Gospel Music Mentor in my Life and friend.He,2 others and myself met at one of the members homes and put together the foundation of one of the most ever lasting well known Male Chorus in Alabama history. Now the Legacy of "25" has come down to 3 survivors,me being 1 of that 3. of "ORIGINAL...

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I pray that the God of all comfort grant you peace at this difficult time.

To the Freeman Family you have my deepest and heartfelt condolences on the loss of your love one. My prayers are with the family. Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.

So glad I got the chance to see you and talk to you. One of the 1st songs you taught us at New Hope of Ensley was "There's a Bright Side Somewhere. Dont you stop, til you find it. There's a bright side somewhere". You have now found your "Bright Side". Rest well my friend/my brother, til we meet again.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
