Not sure what to say?

I was married to Al for 6 years and just learned of his going to be with the Lord yesterday. I am touched by all the guest book entries even though I don't know any of you. If possible I would like to hear from Warren as I had a small part of his life in his infant years and have always thought of him with love in my heart as I matured and became the mother of two daughters.

I just had to come back and read the guest book about Al, I had a dream last night that he was sitting under a tree with my grandpa fishing and enjoying himself.( I BET HE IS TOO ) I still miss him alot, I always look for the flag flying in the wind as i drive by on 205 and look over at their place and it makes me smile. I have stoped a couple times to see Irene and she was not home so i need to try agian. We all love and miss you so much.

Uncle Al,
When I married your (nephew) Tim 35 years ago, you immediately took me into your heart and made me feel like family. We are all so blessed to have known and had you in our lives. I wish we could have spent more time with you. We have many cherished memories and thank you for them.
With All Our Love,

It has been a little over a month since losing dad. There is such an emptiness without him. This will be the first holiday season without dad. It's funny, for about the past 20 years dad would always state that this will probably be his last Christmas/Thanksgiving. And now here we are. I would like to wish everyone a safe and peaceful Holiday season.

Terri and I wanted to keep the guest book open for the next year. We hope that you all will keep comming back and sharing the good times we had with Al, I miss him so much and this site is healing for me to read about al the good times, If anyone has some pic, please post them and keep this site going, Thanks to all of you.
Michael.

In celebration of Al Gadberry's life: It has been my great joy and privilege to know Al, as his daughter Kathy's life-long friend. Al and Irene were like adopted parents to me, especially after the death of my mother when I was 17 years old. I learned from their abounding, true love and generosity-- the significance and life-long impact of genuinely opening your home to those in need, and including the lost and hurting as family.

Al is a man whom I will always respect, as do my...

Where do I start? There is so much to say about Al. I met Al in 1985 and I'm happy to say that it wasn't because he wrote me a ticket or took me to jail. It was because I started dating his daughter Kathy. I was always taught to be on my best behavior when in the company of my elders; Al broke the ice in our relationship when we getting to know eachother and he broke wind! He was down to earth from the start. We became good friends. It has been 22 years now since we first met and all the...

We are two of Allen's (Papa's) grandchildren. We remember when we and our older brother would spend the night at Nana and Papa's house all the time when we were younger. On the weekends, we never wanted to go to our friend's house, but to Nana and Papa's to spend the night. Papa would play and chase us around the house. Even though it wasn't that long, he still made it very fun for us. As he got sicker, he wasn't quite able to give us the same company when we came over. we're just glad that...
