Not sure what to say?

Allen is buried not far from where I live in Edom and today I placed a flag on his grave. We didn't know each other but I do know him, I had hundreds of young men just like him in my Infantry Company's. I will check on him from time to time and speak his name. I pray that time will ease your pain.

I did not know you, but I knew your mother, you did a great service for your country, and gave your life, so others could be free, thank you sir for our freedom, from the bottom of my heart

To the family and friends of Pfc. Allen B. Jaynes:
It has truly been my honor to sign Allen's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Allen will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy
