Al and I played basketball together from 1976-78 at Black Hawk Junior College in Kewanee. He was always a tremendous competitor and teammate who have his all. I remember the night Al scored over 40 points in a game and how he gave so much of the credit to his teammates who got him the basketball and Coach Dave LaPan encouraged us to feed Al!
