Thinking of my grandpa today and everyday. I remember spending time over the summer when I was maybe 9 or 10 and read the foot print poem with grandma Jean and grandpa and feeling closer to god. Reading that poem today thinking of my grandpa Joyce

Happy Birthday in Heaven dear Allen. The years pass by so quickly. Thank you for your Christian example and the love and care you gave my mom.

Allen was that one candle that lit so many others. He was a man of God who did his best to lead a Christian life. I miss him but know he is Home.

Dear Jean - We were saddened to learn of Allen's death. It is comforting to know that at his passing he was at home with family gathered around. Please accept our deepest sympathy and extend it to other members of the family.
Although we only saw Allen and you a few months each year, we valued the friendship and the time we spent together. We especially remember the concern and kindness shared with Sue's mother when she was housebound.
