Allen Kenley

Services for Allen Kenley, 66, of Lubbock will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at First United Methodist Church-Bowman Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Monday at Sanders Funeral Home. Allen left this life on July 9, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Allen was born April 25, 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia to Brents and Elliotte Kenley. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1962 and attended Texas Tech Univeristy. Allen owned and operated Acme Bolt & Supply since 1957. He married Joan Smith on July 8, 1995 in Lubbock, TX. Allen was a member of the First United Methodist Church; the Lions Club, the Transportation Club, active member of Alpha Phi Omega and he was involved in many civic activities including establishing the Lubbock Eye Bank. Loved ones include his wife, Joan; daughter, Rhonda Feron and husband, Kevin; daughter, Tamara Hwang and fiancé, Jeremy Beneze; grandsons, Brents and Blake Feron.
