Not sure what to say?

I met Allen at a RT camera club meeting about 20 yrs ago. Am an Internationally published nature, photographer. Was at Mary Grey Bird Sanctuary one day taking some photos(during that same era), and all of a sudden here comes Allen, lol. We spoke for a few minutes and he went on his way. I talked to him on the phone one day promising him I would be at the next meeting, but was not able to make it due to job transitioning. I saw some of his and others, photo's, they were very nice. I liked him...

In 1951-1952, when they had school breaks from teaching at the Talas Boys´ School, Allen led my parents around Turkey and the Middle East in his old Jeep. I know they had adventures! We always looked forward to the visits when Allen passed through CT on his various journeys over the years. I learned a lot from him by just knowing him. I have fun imagining the mischief he´s up to now, in his new surroundings.

rest in peace Mr.King you are an amazing man. thank you for all the memories you gave to me in class.. may you walk with god.

Allen King changed my life more than any other person aside from my parents. As my 8th grade teacher, he made both science and math. As a Boy Scout leader, he taught me how to explore and respect the outdoors - and later taught me the basics of leadership. Then as an older teenage, Allen mentored me as a considered once path after another. Thankfully I visited him in New Castle recently and told him all of this and more about being such an important game-changer for me along with scores of...

What an amazing individual, friend, leader, teacher, and always demanding the best from all of us. May Dr. King rest in peace.

One of my favorite teachers, and also a great neighbor. Condolences to his friends and family. I will never forget him.

So sad to hear of my favorite teacher's passing. I remember so so many good times in Science Club and all of our many camping trips. Mr King taught us so much. I remember one time myself, Nan Young & Marianna Regner were camping and we had to move our tent bc we were making noises talking & laughing so we had to move our tent in the rain far away from the other campers. I will always remember Mr King!!!

What an amazing man! A true treasure for New Castle and Henry county. I was lucky enough to experience one of his trips out west as a young student. What an experience! Rest in Peace Mr. King!

I enjoyed you as my teacher. You were so smart and brought out the best in me.
