Allen George Krauss

Deepest Sympathy to Allen's wife. Allen was a very kind and regular customer to many of us at "The Good Stuff" we looked forward to seeing him on the weekends. When we had'nt seen him for awhile , one of our vendors spotted his notice. Allen was a very special customer who shared many stories with all of us. He is missed deeply.

I DIDN'T KNOW AL IN SCHOOL, HE WAS 2 YEARS OLDER THAN I, AND IN MY SISTERS'S [ AND BRO IN LAW BOB VOGT'S] CLASS. I AM ALSO A NIECE OF HILDA HORSFALL.AND REMEMBER WHEN AL'S MOM WAS STAYING WITH HER. AL WOULD COME IN TO SEE HIS MOM AFTER WORK, AND WAS VERY PLEASANT AND MANNERLY. OUR FAMILY SENDS SINCERE CONDOLENCES.

Norrene(Horsfall) and I were classmates of Al at Northfield HS (1947). We both are very sad to hear of his death. He joins over half of his classmates who were a very close group. Maybe the remaining classmates will remember the time in our senior year that someone threw the bottom of a desk up against the wall when our HR teacher turned her back after giving us a lecture about something. No one would admit or tattle on the culprit...We all had to report to the office and stay after...

Sorry to hear about Allens demise.
It is always a sad time when we lose someone close to us.

Dear Wanda, I am the niece of Hilda Horsfall, who cared for Sophie for some time. Allen and I graduated from Northfield High in 1947. I hope Faith, Family, and Friends will help you at this difficult time.
