Allen was my dear cousin. He will be missed and I'm deeply saddened hearing this news. The last time I saw him he looked great and it wasn't that long ago. He always made me smile and was always very nice to myself and my family. I will pray for his family and my cousins and keep him in my thoughts as we all grieve the loss of Allen. Cindy

I was very blessed to be introduced to Al thru Gary P. My memories of the UP and Deer Camp with Al and Mark will forever be with me. Al was a kind, nice wonderful man He was so strong. Al's pic from dear camp with his U of M shirt, hunting gear and horns hang on my fridge to remind me of the fun we all had. Al will be greatly missed!

I remember Allen well as we grew up together in the Meadowview School District. I remember the family farm and Allen's parents and brothers. We attended Meadowview School (K-6). But as we moved to the junior high and high school we seemed to drift apart as children often do.

Allen was a kind and gentle person. I am not surprised that his Army career was involved in saving lives as his character and gentle spirit shown through in all that he touched.
