LOCK, Allen Keith, Jr. "A.K" - Of Indian River, formerly of Flint, age 60, went to sleep peacefully on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center, after a very brief courageous battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones. Allen was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 17, 1950, to Allen Keith Lock and Lola Lock. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A.K. lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed many good times. He was a mechanic by trade, he was a working machine. But, he was always up for an adventure. He had a traveling soul that took him to many places from California to Jamaica and the friendships and memories formed on those journeys stayed with him always. Allen loved his family and his friends and spoke of the many good times, which always brought a smile or two to his face.He loved to ride his Harley and was proud of the Brothers he got to meet along the way. He was truly a child of the 60's. We will miss his way of looking at life and his many phrases of summing life up. You are on the ultimate ride and party now Brohamage, we will lift our glasses to you to celebrate your life well lived and blessed that we are a part of it. A.K. you are so marvelous! Allen is survived by his sons, Tony (Kim) and Dean (Brandi) Lock; step-son, Robert Halbeck; sister, Jodi Lock; three granddaughters, Hope, Alexis and Izabelle; niece, Amanda Seibel (Tyler Bradshaw) of Florida. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Renee and his parents. On behalf of Keith, we know he would express many thanks to some very special people for your love and support; Steve (Hoss) Hayes, Lola Jo Lucio and Georgina Harper.
