What a wonderful man he was....and still is...thank u for all the memories at the rink ..not only with my children but my grandchildren also

Our condolences to Mim and all of Allen's family and friends. You've been in our prayers. Allen served the community well with Olympic Skating Rink in Enola. Many people, and especially the kids, witnesses how much he loved being there. Saw this many times when taking the high school students there for skating classes. Allen was a very good positive influence on the students. Many of them were very happy to go there to see him as much as the skating! Thank you for all your work there and at...

Allen, there are so many things I could say about you my friend. You have known me for over 20 years due to you and my dad Art Monismith doing bowling events together. Some of my most favorite memories are when the bowling conventions were at the hotel. You would take my daughter Rachel so I could go to the room to room and have fun. You were like another grandfather to my daughter. You will be missed my friends. Enjoy your pain free rollers skating.

So sorry for your loss Heaven has gained a great man! I met Allen at the roller rink, seems like eons ago. I would escape there with my kids every Sunday afternoon. He would always talk to me and he even left me rol the dice with him one time! Years later I would run into him when out and about and he never seemed to forget who I was.
