I have visited this site a for a few years now and have never made an entry because I did not know what to say. I think about him often and always stop by to say a prayer when I am at the cemetery. I served with him when I was the senior scout in 3/8 Cav at Fort Hood. I have very fond memories of discussing missions with him. He would always offer an opinion of how we could accomplish the mission more efficiently. This would at times become heated which in the end would make us both laugh. I...

I miss you uncle i will always have you in my heart

Thinking of you so much lately. Rafe reminds me of you. I look at him and I see you. He talks about following in your footsteps constantly. You would be so proud of your nephew, he is a soldier even at 10. You left such an impression on him. You are truly his hero!! I love you.
