Mr. Shapiro was always so kind to our family. I remember meeting him when I was a teenager. He worked with my parents in the farming industry. Immediately, it seemed as if he'd known us for years. That's how he treated us, like family really. I'd refer to him just as someone else did here, "a class act." I am so sorry for your loss. Rest in peace, Mr. Shapiro.

Terri and Aaron our thoughts and prayers are with both of you. We just found out that Michael passed away. You both were the loves of his life and that's all he ever talked about when he was here visiting with us in South Georgia. May God bless you both and the comfort knowing he is no longer suffering.

We met Mike for the first time in Las Vegas this year and I was impressed with his knowledge and ethics. We talked a few times afterwards. Only wish I had the chance to get to know him better. My condolences to his family.

Terri-I'm so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. We have been friends since 5th grade and I can still recall the many nights I spent at his parents home as a youngster. Distance has prevented us from getting together the past years but I will always remember him as a great friend. So sad!

Sam the Shoeman from Cascade Shoe Service will miss seeing Mike in the shop. We chatted often; he was a strong courageous man and loved beautiful shoes. I did not know of his passing and funeral date. I would have attended if I had known. Rest in peace Mike; our condolences to the family. Sam and Dawn
