Not sure what to say?

Where do I even begin? To try and summarize the memories I have or the emotions I feel about you not being here anymore seems like something so very hard to do. I miss hearing Hey doll when I'd walk into a room that you were in; whether I'd seen you that morning at breakfast or 6 months later when I came home from Lafayette, it didn't matter - your face was always bright because I know how much you loved me and how much you loved your family. I feel like we lost a big part, a very influential...

Anybody remember the phrase "You never know what you had until it's gone"? Well Paw Paw I knew what I had in a grandfather but didn't know how much I would miss it. I didn't know how much I missed our talks and conversations about life in all aspects. You are and will always be an inspiration to me and my family. I am very happy my children were so close to you and were able to see the man I adored. It's very hard to be without you after you were involved with so much in our lives. I...

I didn't just lose a father-in-law I lost the best jitterbugging partner that I ever had. All the dancing that we did at all the weddings, some of the best times of my life. Will miss you Keep those dancing shoes handy for the next time that we meet
Love ya Chewy
Your favorite daughter-in - law

Paw Paw Chew, I love you so much! Thanks for always being a bright spot in everyone's lives: your smile, laugh, and your voice I will remember forever. You were such a unique person: I am so happy to be your Granddaughter and to have inherited many of your wonderful traits!

To my Little' Paw Paw,

One month ago today Our Lord revealed Himself to you, and knowing this makes that moment of loss sting much less. I think of you oh so often, and when I do, so many memories flood into my mind. I want you to know I realize how much of an impact you made on my life. These are just a few - but between the fishing trips in the spillway, our Godfather movie marathons during the Christmas Holidays, and our telephone conversations when life created miles between us...

I have to say that you were always in a great mood! I loved your visits..You always knew how to make others laugh! You will be missed but never forgotten! I love you!

My memories of Uncle Allen range from scaring me under the table when I was a little girl to our talks about faith when he would come to Shreveport and help me in the yard. He was a constant source of laughter. His faith was inspiring. It definitely will not be the same without him here but EVERY time I think about him I smile. I am thankful that I had him in my life.

How do I say goodbye to someone who is so much to me, so much more than just my dad? You were a constant in my life, someone I always knew I could count on. You helped me out in so many ways. Cooking and cleaning, laundry, washing the bugs off my car, running errands for me, taking my jobs in to the office, that very-needed cup of coffee when I worked late into the night, and so much more.
You were my teacher of life lessons, travel companion, co-pilot and navigator, my...

They say laughter is the best medicine! My Paw-Paw Chew kept his family laughing, probably from the time he could talk. For someone so small he had the biggest personality, sense of humor, and wit! If any of his best traits have been passed down to me, I hope it's that same zest for life, sense of humor, love of music, dancing, singing, horses, and people! Until we meet again Paw-paw! I love you! Allen Chew Weber, Sr. 1/19/18
