I will miss our time together fishing ,i Rember getting to the dock and finding out by the captain it was to rough to go out today . We were bummed but we hung out for an hour to see if conditions might change? Al noticed an opossum scurrying down the dock and lit after it saying"gonna catch something today" he always did and it was always the biggest . Just like him,I will miss him

Allen was a classmate, a neighbor on the Groton Road - RT 222, and a friend. We rode the same school bus to Homer Central and even went sliding with with other neighbor kids. I will always think of him as a gentle giant. May you rest in peace old friend. To Allen's family, know that those of back here in NYS send our thoughts of peace to each of you. Ginny Carroll Glezen

Al was a great buddy and mentor. He taught me all about water line installation,Elk hunting and fishing for Halibut. He always brought his own fishing gear and bait so he would always catch the biggest fish.It was always an adventure being with Al.
