Just a great person who made everyone feel better just being in his presence. He will be missed by all who wait for the next joke to come. RIP my friend.

I´m so saddened at the loss of the best boss I´ve ever had. ALWAYS had children and staff´s best interest at the forefront of his conversations, decisions and advocacy. Thinking of you Barbara and Alex. One final joke to tell? lol

He leaves a huge gap on earth, and surely he is making heaven laugh too A giant of a man and missed always. He spent his DASH well.

Charlie became friendly with Al and admired him tremendously from his time with him at the JCC and later. I have known and loved Al for most of my life, having had him as an inspiring and influential teacher at Forest Park, have always been aware his accomplishments helping young people through education and countless other children and their families through the Shriners and just being always...
