Not sure what to say?

Just a great person who made everyone feel better just being in his presence. He will be missed by all who wait for the next joke to come. RIP my friend.

I´m so saddened at the loss of the best boss I´ve ever had. ALWAYS had children and staff´s best interest at the forefront of his conversations, decisions and advocacy. Thinking of you Barbara and Alex. One final joke to tell? lol

Sending our comforting thoughts and prayers and deepest sympathy to all family and friends of Illustrious Al Zippin! He will be greatly missed!

Edgar and Anne Gelinas send to Barbara and the entire family our sincere condolences. Yes, never to miss the opportunity to chat and joke, Al made us all interested and laughing all the time. He leaves a huge gap on earth, and surely he is making heaven laugh too A giant of a man and missed always. He spent his DASH well.

Till we meet again in that land beyond the grave. I will always cherish the memories shared over the many years.

Rest in Peace Illustrious! May the Great Architect Guide You Safely on Your New Journey!

Barbara and family, I'm very sorry for your loss of Alan. Knowing him as your babysitter at 14 and later as co-worker as a young teacher who he gave me great advice. Always had a joke to tell! Marilyn Pollak Gitlen
