Allene was a high energy teacher who was always seeking ways to improve instruction. She was a dedicated
professional who wanted the best for her students. Allene never allowed departmental problems to block her
sense of humor. Although she was not at Trident Technical College for many years, she made a lasting
impression as a model Instructor.

Mrs. Barans was a mentor of mine while I was teaching at PG in 2008. She was a huge support for me and was so kind to send me a handwritten note that I stumbled upon not too long ago.
