Allene Vest Sweeney

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Sweeney. She was a very special person, always kind and had a smile on her face. She was held in highest regard in the the Garden City Chruch of the Nazarene. She not only kept children in the nursery; She kept my two boys for couple years when I worked. She was a joy to be around and I know she and Mr. Sweeney are having a fine reunion in heaven now.

I agree that Allene didn't mind all the neighborhood children playing in yard or the house. The good times with the family in Sweeney Town have made great memories.

I remember Allene as the lady in "Sweney Town" who didn't mind all the neighborhood kids playing in her yard. Those were good times.

Wayne and family - I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was the BEST neighbor I ever had. I still tell stories of her out there mowing her yard in her 80's! She was an incredible woman and I will always remember her fondly - Pam, Nick & Gweny Cox (Salem)
