It was in the summer of 1971 that I first met Al. He became my Pastor and friend and unfailing example of one sharing the love that only Christ can give. In 2009 he came often to spend time with us. He would hold Richard's hand and tell him how much he loved him, read scripture and pray. Al spent hours with me in hospital rooms and waiting rooms and ministered to me in a mighty way.
