FISHER, ALMA MAE, age 81 of Knoxville, died 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church. A church pianist for over 40 years. Retired court reporter.
Preceded in death by: husband, J. P. Fisher; sister, Hurley Wilson; newborn son, Burnett Edward Fisher; parents, William Thomas and Nora Belle Wilson.
Survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Dodie Fisher; daughter and son-in-law, Merianne and Frank Pickard of Nashville; grandchildren, Fred Brabson, Jami Welden, Savannah and Laura Beth Pickard; sister-in-law, June Fisher of Kingsport; cousins, Ruth Hixson and family of Greenville; cousins, Frances Pray and family of California.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Park Baptist Church, 830 Chicamauga Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37917.
A service to honor Alma’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Lincoln Park Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Walker and Rev. Ted J. Ingram officiating. Visitation for family and friends will immediately follow the service.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment.
