Alma Isbell Ware

WARE, Alma Isbell, 87, of Windsor, Va., formerly of Bumpass, died Friday, July 11, 2008. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, W. Farrar Ware Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Julia W. Perkins; her son, William F. Ware Jr. and wife, Amy; her grandchildren, Tracy Ransom, Dana Perkins, Elizabeth Perkins, Kaitlin Ware, Christopher Ware and Nathaniel Ware; great-grandchildren, Alison, Connor and Zachary Ransom; her sister, Rae Farren; friend and caregiver, Amy Reid; and protector and constant companion, Bud. Her remains rest at Lacy Funeral Home, Route 522, Mineral, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 14, in Hopeful Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
