Condolences to the entire world he made better. A wonderful gentleman and a patient teacher. I was privileged to have attended a couple of his lectures. The highlight of his teaching was his Q&A sessions after the lectures, where he would stay until everyone had had a chance to benefit from his extensive experience, wisdom, and ability to explain plexus anesthesia. A giant, upon whose shoulders an entire profession stands.

Dr. Winnie was a friend and mentor to many young aspiring teachers and practitioners. He was a true role model for us all. One could not have a better friend and I will miss him. John Downs

Alon was my mentor and a great leader. He was a strong supporter of Respiratory Care. We will miss him dearly but alway remember his love for Anesthesia, Respiratory Care and the people who worked with him.

Dr. Winnie was an incredible man. His courage and strength were unshaken throughout every obstacle he encountered. Dr. Winnie (DOC) was a friend and a father figure to me since I was nine years old. He will be sorely missed by many. And most certainly never forgotten. RIP. You did wonders for so many.
